Centralised Admissions for MSc at Mumbai University Colleges from Dec 4

Mumbai: The University of Mumbai (MU) will start the admissions for the 213 ‘university-quota’ seats of Master of Science (MSc) courses at its affiliated colleges at 5 pm on December 4.

The university-quota admissions will be conducted online on the university portal admissionmsc.mu.ac.in, according to two notifications issued on Wednesday. The students can apply for the course till December 11.

While the university-quota seats for post-graduation courses are filled by MU through a centralised admission process, the admissions for the remaining ‘college seats’ are carried by the individual colleges themselves. The admissions for the university department seats are already being conducted by the respective departments.

As many as 213 spots are available to students for four science disciplines: Biology, Physics, Microbiology and Mathematics. Except for Physics, the admissions are being conducted for both aided and unaided sections of colleges. Only aided college seats are available for Physics.

While 97% of the seats are reserved for MU-graduates, 3% seats are for graduates from other universities.

  1. Hiya! Quick question that’s totally off topic. Do you know how to
make your site mobile friendly? My website looks weird when viewing from
my apple iphone. I’m trying to find a theme or plugin that might be able to resolve this problem.
If you have any suggestions, please share. Cheers!
