The admission process will extend till January with the academic year slated to start on January 4.
Students can check their scores and download marksheet by logging in their accounts on mhtcet2020.mahaonline.gov.in website.
Maharashtra Higher and Technical Education Minister has tweeted the result date for all professional courses’ CET. He also provided a timeline to start the centralised admissions for these courses.
Maharashtra students who want to pursue a diploma in engineering, pharmacy or hotel management, but haven’t so far applied for admission, can now register themselves till December 5.
State Cell last week issued a notice responding to various objections raised by students about questions in MHT-CET 2020 papers as well as the answers provided in the Answer Key.
The state government has changed the admission rules for both undergraduate (UG) and post-graduation (PG) professional courses to reduce the number of rounds of the centralised admission process (CAP) from three to two. The move will shorten the admission process which has already been delayed by months due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The Cell has replaced the manual attendance-marking and verification system with a barcode and webcam-based verification to minimise physical interaction between students and invigilators. The entry time for candidates has been staggered to avoid crowding at the centres, which will be filled only half of their capacity.
The aspirants can download their admit cards from https://mhtcet2020.mahaonline.gov.in by logging in their accounts, according to a notice issued by the Cell on Friday. The admit cards will have details of students’ examination centre, reporting time and date of the test. The candidates will also be required to submit an ‘unconditional undertaking’.
